The Byrne Collection, established in 2005 consists of original works of art in the form of sculpture, painting, drawing, photography and fine art edition prints by artists living, working or exhibiting in London.

The collection offers place for works to become part of an open resource for other collectors and art professionals such as curators and writers, whilst also acting as a vehicle for works to be conserved and circulated. Works remain available to loan for exhibitions and events.

The collection offers a snap shot of contemporary artistic thought base on the encounters and interests of one London born and based artist in a proactive and engaged way, working at times as an extension to the research and ideas surrounding her own practice. As a whole the collection presents a unique anthology of works assembled and informed by networks and friends that reflect a multitude of ideas, values and tastes.
